School Disco for Kent
AP Events are based in Ashford and provide a Mobile Disco for schools across Kent.
Booking forms are issued for each disco to confirm all the arrangements, for your peace of mind and to help keep track of all the arrangements. The booking forms can be used for receipts or we can create an invoice to suit the requirements of your accounts team. The online event planning section will help you keep control of the bookings.
Presentation is important; we ensure that staff and equipment look smart. We use a deckstand to keep the DJ area looking tidy and hide away the cables. If you have a particular dress code for your event then please let us know.
Mobile Disco Safety is important to us, we have both PAT (portable appliance testing) and PLI (public liability insurance) and will send a copy of the paperwork if required.
Music
We have a wide selection of music, from the classics right up to current chart & promotional tracks that haven't been released yet.
With our online guest request you can give out a password for the children to add their requests in advance to ensure that we have the music they want. We will then send a copy of this list to the event organiser prior to the event for them to double check. We'll also take requests during the event although we check the music we're playing to ensure that nothing unsuitable is played.
Mobile Disco Equipment
We use a variety of disco speakers to best suit your requirements and fit into the venue. We listen to your requirements; always running the speakers at a volume to keep the dancers happy yet allow others to hear themselves talk. The disco speakers are hand made by Deltec in the UK to provide a high quality audio system.
The computer controlled disco lights create a versatile show to suit your event. We can adapt the lighting during the event to keep the atmosphere just right no matter what stage of the disco. We can keep the lights nice and mellow or wild and wacky for the true nightclub feel. If there are any concerns about strobe lighting then please let us know as we can use as much or as little as required.
School Disco Prices
The cost of a disco varies depending on various factors, as a guideline here is a list of the most common prices that we charge as a Mobile DJ:
- £100 = Afternoon Disco (2hrs & finish no later than 17:00)
- £150 = Evening Disco (3hrs & finish no later than 22:00)
- £200 = Evening Disco (4hrs & finish no later than 23:00)
- £250 = Evening Disco (5hrs & finish no later than midnight)
